Being Invested:

The Pack has simple ceremonies that the Cubs take part in to start and end their evenings as well as other special events. One of these includes the time that your child becomes an official member of the Scout Association, by taking part in their investiture.  At this time the Cubs are asked to make a promise.

Family and friends are invited to this ceremony that normally takes place between 4 and 6 weeks after joining the pack once they have completed all the requirements for the membership badge. We ask for a one-off payment of £16 for investment, this covers registration, the 74th Coventry Scouts necker, woggle, badges and book.

When you become a Cub Scout you will need to follow the promise, law and motto:

The Cub Scout Promise -

I promise that I will do my best
To do my duty to God and to the Queen
To help other people
And to keep the Cub Scout Law.

The Cub Scout Law -

Cub Scouts always do their best
Think of others before themselves
And do a good turn everyday

The Cub Scout Motto -

Be prepared.

What will I wear once I become a Cub?

74th Coventry Beaver Uniform
