Being Invested:

The Colony has simple ceremonies that the Beavers take part in to start and end their evenings as well as other special events. One of these includes the time that your child becomes an official member of the Scout Association, by taking part in their investiture.  At this time the Beavers are asked to make a promise.

Family and friends are invited to this ceremony that normally takes place between 4 and 6 weeks after joining the colony once they have completed all the requirements for the membership badge. We ask for a one-off payment of £16 for investment, this covers registration, the 74th Coventry Scouts necker, woggle, badges and book.

When you become a Beaver Scout you will need to follow the promise and motto:

The Beaver Scout Promise -

I promise to do my best
To be kind and helpful
And to love God.

The Beaver Scout Motto -

Be prepared.

What will I wear once I become a Beaver?

74th Coventry Beaver Uniform
